  • Sidewinder Sleeve 1050 Ballistic Nylon

    The Ballistic Nylon Sidewinder Sleeve is the best material for most general purpose applications, bundling hydraulic hoses/cables, traditional abrasion protection. The 1050B is widely used in agriculture, construction, oil, gas, forestry and mining applications. This material also is used on CE approved equipment for operator protection in the event of hose failure.

    - Material: Mil-Spec 1050 Ballistic Nylon, 1.7 mil urethane coating
    - Temperature Range: -60°F (-51°C) to +250°F (121°C)
    - Abrasion Resistance: Very good tested to ISO 6945 specifications
    - Puncture/Tear: Good; puncture and tear resistant
    - UV Protection: Very good; meets EN13758-1, max rating of 80 New/Dry
    - Chemicals: Very good resistance to water & oils
    - Wicking: Good; sheds surface moisture

  • Suburban Sidewinder Sleeve 5601

    The 5601 Sidewinder Sleeve is excellent for most mobile and industrial applications as it remains very flexible regardless of temperature. 5601 is used for bundling hoses, wires, and cables. The heavy urethane coating features a low coefficiency of friction; Providing excellent abrasion resistance for wet, high UV and crisp edge applications.

    - Material: 1000 Denier Cordura (10.5 oz.), with 5 mil urethane coating.
    - Temperature Range: -60°F (-51°C) to +250°F (121°C)
    - Abrasion Resistance: Excellent; tested to ISO 6945 Specifications

    The Heavy Duty Abrasion Sidewinder Sleeve is best for tough outdoor applications such as covering hose used on the ground, mud pumping for well drilling, remote construction tools and anywhere where severe abrasion protection is needed.

    - Material: Proprietary Polymer Coated 1500 Denier Substrate 40oz. sq. yd

    - Abrasion Resistance: Fair; Lightweight

  • Suburban Sidewinder Sleeve 18411

    The 18411 Sidewinder Sleeve is an excellent choice for weld cable or welding hose that is dragged on the floor. It has an excellent resistance to hot sparks and spall. 18411 is also heavily used on off-shore oil and drill rigs, and in subsea maintenance for saltwater/barnacle protection of hoses and safety lines.

    - Material: 1000 Denier Cordura, Double Coated with Proprietary High FR Neoprene Meets MIL-C-20696E, Type 2, Class 1
    - Temperature Range: -60°F (-51°C) to +250°F (121°C), momentary spot heat up to 800°F (426°C)
    - UV Protection: Excellent; Best Barrier, meets EN13758-1, top rating of 80 New

  • Suburban Sidewinder Sleeve Weld Shield

    The Weld Shield Sidewinder Sleeve is ideal for robotic welders and machinery to protect hoses, cables, and wiring from hot sparks and spall.

    - Material: Plain Weave Fiberglass with coating on both sides of proprietary FR neoprene coating
    - Temperature Range: -40°F (-40°C) to +750°F (398°C) continuous exposure, 1000°F (537°C) intermittent exposure
    - Abrasion Resistance: Fair; not recommended for applications requiring abrasion resistance
    - Puncture/Tear: Excellent; extremely difficult to puncture or tear
    - UV Protection: Excellent; best barrier, meets EN13758-1, top rating of 80 New
    - Chemicals: Excellent, unaffected by water, petro chemicals, or mild caustics
    - Wicking: Excellent
    - Welding Sparks/Spall: Excellent; shields molten metal to 3000°F when on an incline of 15°.

  • Suburban Sidewinder Sleeve EJ 1650

    The Teflon Glass Sleeve is used for high temperature applications requiring a wear resistant cover, resistance to acid chemical, resistance to adhesion from tar, asphalt, paint and other coatings that traditionally build up on a surface. It also is widely used as protection for cables and wiring on sensors and harnesses on engine applications. Additional uses for this product are welding shields, engine intake temp control, and battery cable covers.

    - Material: Teflon coated fiberglass
    - Temperature Range: 550°F (287°C) constant 650°F (343°C) intermittent, core fabric 1000°F (537°C)
    - Abrasion Resistance: Good – intermittent low force contact
    - Puncture/Tear: Excellent – difficult to randomly puncture or tear
    - UV Protection: Excellent – best barrier, meets EN13458-1, top rating of 80 new
    - Chemicals: Excellent – inert coating supports use where oils, chemicals, caustic and acids are present without degrading
    - Wicking: Excellent
